In other words, the terraces and balconies of Fisherman’s Bastion as a Budapest attraction – the lookout terrace – are open nonstop, all year round, from January to December. The opening hours of the attraction include every single day of the year, regardless of weather conditions, Hungarian public holidays, or other special days in Budapest, Hungary.

Opening Hours of the Upper Towers of the Fisherman’s Bastion

Tickets for the upper towers of the Fisherman’s Bastion are sold

from 9 am to 7 pm (March 16 to April 30)
from 9 am to 8 pm (May 1 to October 15)
outside these hours visiting the Fisherman’s Bastion (lower and upper towers and terraces) is free
visiting Fisherman’s Bastion between Oct 15 and March 15 is free of charge all day long

Please note that many of the museums are closed on Mondays in Budapest, Hungary. This means that the museums in the building of the Buda Castle Budapest are also closed, namely the Hungarian National Gallery and the Budapest History Museum.

      Hello Mike, yes, the cafe on Fisherman’s Bastion is open for dinner. Booking a table with a view will be soon available. Table reservations are confirmed in 24 hours in the booking form, and guests need to provide the contact details (name, email, phone number, group size and date of dinner in the Fisherman’s Bastion Cafe, plus any additional information like food allergies or dietary restrictions)

      Hello Karen, yes, Fisherman’s Bastion is open during the Christmas holidays including Dec 24, 25, 26 too. One of the few attractions in Budapest that is always open.

      yes, dogs are allowed on a lead and with a muzzle, which is the general dog policy in Budapest in public places.
